Dear 3rd Grade Parents,
I am very excited to begin the 2012-2013 school year! My name is Brianna Trujillo (True-he-o) and this will be my second year teaching at Howard. I am currently engaged and will be married in May 2013; my name will change to Mrs. Wood (a bit easier to pronounce)! I can already tell that this is going to be a wonderful year! If you are new to our school, I cordially welcome you :)
I grew up in Kaukauna, Wisconsin and completed much of my educational experience in the Fox Valley. In fall 2008, I student taught both elementary and middle school in the Appleton and Neenah school districts. I earned my bachelor degree in Elementary Education (1-8) and School Health Promotion (1-8) from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in January 2009. After graduation, I was able to gain valuable teaching experience as a long term substitute teacher in Neenah. Now, after completing one wonderful year at Howard, I am looking forward to another!
When I am not teaching, I like spending time with my family, friends, and goofy puppy Carter. I also enjoy boating, reading, planting flowers, traveling, and being outdoors. During the summer months, I can be found teaching archery at a day-camp in Shiocton, Wisconsin. Fall is my favorite time of year; school begins and so does football season. Go Pack Go! Thanks for allowing me to introduce myself. I am looking forward to learning more about you and your child in the near future!
I value open communication; please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached by email at [email protected] or by telephone at 662-9706. The best time to reach me is in the morning (7:30-8:15).
I look forward to the days ahead!
Sincerely,
Miss Trujillo
